 Some four weeks ago I entrusted Hamish Mill to sell my investment property, and I was not disappointed.   Hamish streamlined the process as he moved seamlessly from one stage to the next.

 His energy and enthusiasm for the job he clearly loves, rubs off very positively on those people he works with and those who are both vendors and potential buyers.  He faithfully reported back after each open inspection and left nothing to chance.  There was very good communication from him at every stage.

 Then came the day of the auction.  His welcoming of potential bidders put them at ease.  He knows how to speak with people and gain their confidence.  The auction begins.  Hamish knows his stuff and cleverly works the bids.  His mind moves confidently with the speed of the bidding. He knows where to go and how to get there.  He is a professional.

 I am most impressed with the way Hamish handled the entire process for me, and I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who is considering a sale, and who wants to gain the best results. You will also be entertained along the way.

To Whom It May Concern

Hamish Mill acted as our agent and auctioneer for the recent sale of our property at 17a Brookside Avenue Tranmere.

We met with several agents prior to sign with Hamish. Hamish was professional in his approach to the marketing of our property and we like the idea that the person marketing it was also the auctioneer.
Throughout our dealings with Hamish we found him to be well organised and always available. From quick response to emails, follow up phone calls and sms we always felt that we were fully informed as we proceeded through the 4 weeks of open inspections prior to auction.
We were impressed with the stylist, Jo Walsh and we took on board most to the suggestions she offered to us which, we believe, helped us to present our property showing its best attributes. Zoe, the photographer, took great photos and presented our property both for brochure and internet very creatively.
On auction day, even though we weren’t feeling particularly confident (and I don’t believe Hamish was either), he was nothing but professional in his approach to prospective bidders, and his two assistants, also managed to keep us calm and well informed throughout the whole process, which was new to us as we have never sold (or bought) at auction. After an extremely slow start to proceedings, with only 2 of the 3 registered bidders showing any interest, Hamish managed to drag the price up to 700,000 which is what we wanted.

If you sign your property with Hamish Mill, you can be assured of a thorough and professional marketing plan and, as Hamish says “I don’t need a plan B – I will sell your property at auction” and he did!!!

We opted to list the property with Hamish after meeting him at an earlier open home and finding him professional and thorough.
